  • Carries the order in hand or on a tray to the table and serves the plates for the customer at the table
  • Assists chefs with expediting orders, to including assembly, garnishing and inspecting the delicious food dishes for quality and visual appeal of the plate
  • Reads the food ticket, picks up plates and organizes them in hand or on a tray for delivery to the tables.
  • Removes dirty plates, glasses and utensils from other tables and delivers them to the dishwashing station
  • Notifies the expediter of other tables ready to be served
  • Replenishes the stations with product and supplies to include hot water, brewed coffee beans, tea, milk, utensils, plates, bread, butter, jellies, other garnishes and condiments
  • Breaks down and cleans work area, storing perishable product, cleaning equipment and supplies, and restocking to end of day par levels
